This should have been higher on our list. Our daughter's school is close to us, but most of her friends live at the other end of Gachibowli, so I'm a part-time driver every weekend. A near school doesn't guarantee near friends if the school draws from a wide area.

Can't speak about Focus. Our daughter's friends who moved into IB around class 6 came from all kinds of primary schools, mostly CBSE. The adjustment was more about the style of work than the syllabus. A few months of confusion and then they settled.

Ask them who fills it in. At our daughter's daycare years ago, the sheets were done by the coordinator, who saw the kids for ten minutes a day. The room teacher's view was very different and far more useful.
