Does anyone's child learn from the 'watch this video before class' homework? Ours plays it at 2x
Her school has started what it calls a flipped classroom for class 8 science. Each topic is a twelve-minute video to watch at home, and the period in school is for questions and activities. Our daughter watches them at 2x while eating her evening snack, says she 'got it', and then can't answer the first question the teacher asks. I can't really object to the speed, since I listen to every podcast at 1.5x myself. Are other schools doing this? Do your kids take notes from videos, or is that asking too much?
