How do you find out if a school has class 2 seats when the banners only say nursery?

0on Which rules need to match when a 12 year old lives in two houses?
A smaller version of this at our place. The kids have the nanny's rules on weekdays and ours at weekends. We agreed on only two things, sleep time and screens, and everything else is her call when she's with them. Took me a while to stop asking about the biscuits haha
0on Egg twice a week at daycare from Monday, and we haven't tried it at home yet
Ask what else on their menu she hasn't had yet. The egg is just the one they happened to mention 😄 We found three things on ours we'd never tried.
2on Two karate classes in and my 5 year old answers every instruction with a karate shout
Hahaha only steps, I can picture it. At least the shout gets the teeth brushed. Ask me again in a week
0on Every school brochure says 1:20. The class 1 room we saw had 38 desks
Dispersal, good point. To be fair to that school, it wasn't one adult all day, there was an aaya in the corridor. But we did reach at closing time once and it was chaos. I put it down to the rain. Will ask properly this time.
3on Class 4 daughter reads under the blanket with a torch after lights out
Ha, my 10 year old did exactly this, except his torch was the one from the emergency kit and we found out during a power cut. We moved his lights out 20 minutes later and said reading in bed is allowed till then, torch goes back in the kitchen drawer after. Mostly works. Some nights I still see a glow.
1on Club form asked for three choices. My 12 year old wrote 'any' three times
Football, all three times, from my son. He got gardening club anyway 😂 Now we hear about the chillies every evening.
1on One school wants report cards, the other a 'conduct certificate'. Normal for class 8?
Photos with both parents are very common for nursery, nothing to worry about. Our son's school wanted a white background, so we stood against the bedroom wall and our son leaned out of the frame every single time.
1on I teach languages all day. Our 2 month old says 'aaghoo' and I reply in full paragraphs
Ammamma is right though 😂 They love being copied. Our youngest used to go quiet when we spoke properly and light up when we made her own noises back at her.
Three months with my son, four with my daughter, and both times I heard the same lines. What I'd tell your partner: the guilt peaks in the week before going back, not after. By week three I was too busy to feel it, and the baby had decided the caregiver was quite acceptable.
2on Saraswati School is a five-minute walk from us. What's the primary day like?
Home by 4 sounds like a dream from here, ours get back at 5.15 on a good day. Did he have tuition on top, or was school enough?
0on Our one year old cries at every new face, and we have no family nearby to practise on
Late to this, but one small thing that worked with our younger one: we started going to one small park every evening around six, nothing more. After a few weeks the same three or four mothers and their kids were 'her people', and the crying at new faces faded around then. Could just have been the age. I'll never know which.
0on Picked for the school cricket team's summer tournament, and it clashes with our family trip
Our son and a football match, two years ago. Mostly forgiven now, but it comes up before every family trip! We check tournament calendars before booking anything these days.
