3on Preschool calls my partner first, even on the days I'm the one covering the kids
I can only speak from our own experience, which is now quite old. The calls followed whoever the staff saw at the gate most often. Changing the paperwork made no difference. When my partner started doing pickup three days a week, the calls shifted within a month.
3on 15 year old says my shop orders at 11 pm are no different from his group chat
My son made exactly this point at fourteen, and he was right too. What changed things for us was rewriting the rule around its purpose, which was sleep, rather than the phone itself. Each adult then listed any genuine exceptions in advance; in my case, calls when I'm travelling for work. He accepted exceptions that were stated openly. What he objected to was the ones we never mentioned. I can only speak for one teenager, of course, but having the conversation with him rather than at him made a real difference.
0on younger one started class 9 and his brother's class 11 friends have adopted him at lunch
That would be my guess as well. Mine is in class 11 too, and his biggest fear is anything said at that table reaching us at dinner. If the younger one keeps table talk at the table, his brother may make his peace with it.
0on Deep Roots Model School in Alwal for a class 2 joiner next year?
One thing to ask while you're there: the school is listed as going up to class 7. If he joins at class 2, the family will need another move at class 8. Better to know that now and decide whether that's acceptable.
I have no direct experience of the Uppal branch, so please treat this as general. Schools with several branches under one name often differ a good deal from branch to branch, both in which classes they run and in how the junior section is organised, so what you hear about one may not apply to another. I would phone that branch directly. One question that might help you plan: would the move happen before she is due to start nursery, or would she begin somewhere near Somajiguda first?
0on Our 10 year old now talks to us like he's filming a video
Is it only the phrasing, or has he also started judging things the way the videos do, with ratings and 'cringe'? The phrasing I would leave alone. The judging I would keep an eye on, because that habit tends to outlast the accent.
0on Our UKG daughter shares the van with class 9 boys, and came home with a new word
I asked our son, who has just finished his class 10 exams, what would have stopped him and his friends at that age. His answer was that their driver once said 'not in front of the babies', and they stopped for the rest of the year. I cannot promise it went exactly like that, but it may be worth trying before going to the school.
