Deep Roots Model School in Alwal for a class 2 joiner next year?

My grandson spends his afternoons with us in Kompally, and his parents have asked me to find out about schools on our side for next year, when he would go into class 2. I pass Deep Roots Model School on my morning walk most days. Do they take new children at class 2, and is there a test? And how much homework do the small classes get? His parents will decide, I'm only collecting information.

We haven't looked at this school, so only a general point from our own search: several schools told us that children joining after class 1 sit a short reading and writing check. Worth asking whether this one does, and what it covers, so he isn't surprised.

One thing to ask while you're there: the school is listed as going up to class 7. If he joins at class 2, the family will need another move at class 8. Better to know that now and decide whether that's acceptable.
