0on First mottai at the family temple, 9 months old, 6 hour drive. How did your baby handle it?
is the date fixed by the family or can you pick a cooler month? we did ours in may and regretted the heat more than anything else
3on Is a 5:30 am cricket batch sustainable for a 13 year old during term?
not a teacher, but my daughter did 6 am swimming for a term last year. first month zombie, second month fine, then exams came and we paused it. bedtime moving to 9:30 was the real fight, not the alarm
0on Daycare cooks her food without salt and my in-laws think that's why she won't eat there
is she fussy there, or just eating less because there's a room full of other babies to watch? mine ate half at daycare and everything at home at that age. nothing to do with salt
2on Third 'classwork incomplete' note in his diary this week. He says he finished everything
could be he's finishing it later, at home or in the next period, from a friend's notebook. ask him which day's work exactly and look at the dates on the page. mine used to 'finish' things that way 🙂
0on Since my partner started a career break, our toddler won't let me do bedtime
still flip-flopping at 10, for the record. currently i'm the favourite because i sign the school forms without reading them
3on Office wants us in four days a week from August. What changed at home when yours did this?
bengaluru here, same thing happened to me last year. my partner's on a break now so we're covered, but before that a neighbour's college-going daughter came 3.30 to 6 on weekdays. reliable, not too expensive, and our girl liked her more than us. ask around your building
2on Holiday homework due on day one. She has eight days and hasn't opened the project
once is all i need. though i suspect she'll find a friend's mother to help before she faces anything
4on Ma wants fresh fish for me every day while I'm feeding. Where around Tolichowki?
not tolichowki, but my mother did exactly this after my daughter was born. fish every day, twice on sundays. what saved us was one vendor who came to the gate three days a week, and freezing the rest. ask the watchman, someone in the building always has a fish person
4on Our caregiver tells our son 'the crow will take you' when he won't eat
or the crow gets a spoon as well. ours 'fed' an imaginary crow every other bite for most of a year. slow, but nobody cried
