My daughter's was at Tirupati at about 11 months. She cried for the first minute, then got fascinated by everyone staring at her new head 😂 Carry a soft cap and something cold to drink for yourselves. The waiting is longer than the shave.
The cap part is so true. Our son pulled off every cap we tried, so we ended up covering his head with a thin cotton towel and shading him with a dupatta. Worth carrying both just in case ❤️
is the date fixed by the family or can you pick a cooler month? we did ours in may and regretted the heat more than anything else
