Ma wants fresh fish for me every day while I'm feeding. Where around Tolichowki?

Ma is staying with us since the baby came, two months now, and her one non-negotiable is fish for me every day while I'm feeding. Rohu or katla mostly, the way she'd get it at home, cleaned and cut small. She's been sending my partner out each morning, and my partner is running out of patience and places. Is there anywhere around Tolichowki that does freshwater fish and will clean and cut properly? Or a vendor who comes to the gate?

not tolichowki, but my mother did exactly this after my daughter was born. fish every day, twice on sundays. what saved us was one vendor who came to the gate three days a week, and freezing the rest. ask the watchman, someone in the building always has a fish person

We are in Tolichowki as well. We usually go to the Mehdipatnam market early on Sunday mornings, and they will clean and cut there if you ask. I can't say how good the freshwater fish is, as we mostly buy seer and prawns. For rohu and katla, the Bengali families in your area probably know better than I do; it may be worth asking in your building.
