IB is similar to what you describe. At our last conference the teacher said spelling is not marked down in science unless it changes the meaning. So yes, worth asking his school what their rule is.

No idea about Vani specifically, we're IB and on the Attapur side. From what I understand, Telugu is taught across boards in Telangana now, so he'd meet it wherever he goes. My son started it late too and grumbled for a year. Now it's just another subject.

Going through the same search for martial arts for my 9 year old. Every place leads with the competition kids and the trophy shelf. What helped was asking to watch a normal weekday class for twenty minutes before paying anything. Two places said no, which told us enough.

Glass tops and corners at his eye height worried me most at that age. We put the glass coffee table in storage for about a year and nobody missed it. Climbing we mostly allowed with someone close by, and taught him to come down feet first.
