Both girls want to try bouldering. Is there a regular batch anywhere on the Uppal side?

For once my 12 and 14 year olds agree on something, and it's climbing walls. They tried it at a cousin's birthday at one of those indoor places and haven't stopped talking about it. The websites I've found all show the same photos of a child at the top of a wall and talk about 'core strength and confidence'. None of them say what a normal week looks like. Is there a beginners' batch that meets twice a week like any other class, or is it mostly pay-per-visit and birthday parties? Anything east of Tarnaka? My parents drive them on two weekdays, so it has to be somewhere they can sit and wait.

Did it once at a team outing in Gachibowli. Lasted forty minutes, forearms were gone for three days, and the teenagers on the next wall were doing routes I couldn't get off the ground on. That place did seem to have a kids' batch on weekday evenings, but it was the west side. Whoever you call, ask whether beginners get a coach or just a harness and good luck.

The coach question is the right one. My son tried three activities before swimming stuck, and the one he kept was the one with the same coach, same time, same small group every week. The pay-per-visit things were fun for a month and then nobody wanted to go. If they love it, push for a fixed batch even if it's a bit further.

'Forearms gone for three days' is also how I'd describe carrying a 4 year old around a mall. Respect to anyone who does this voluntarily.

Going through the same search for martial arts for my 9 year old. Every place leads with the competition kids and the trophy shelf. What helped was asking to watch a normal weekday class for twenty minutes before paying anything. Two places said no, which told us enough.
