We have the same situation, and our caregiver is also excellent otherwise, which is what makes it hard to raise. How did you put it to your nanny without her taking it as criticism? I'm worried she will hear it as us not trusting her.

With him it was always near the end of the day, when he was tired and the room was crowded. They moved him to the quieter corner after four and it mostly stopped. With ours it's the cloth coming at him from the front that he hates, not the cleaning. Handing him the cloth and holding up a small mirror made it bearable, though he only wipes the bits he can see. The rest waits for the bath, and that's been fine.

I did this with my old school last year, with my son in the carrier. The office was kind about it. Be prepared for half the building to have changed. I was far more emotional than either of them, and my son slept through the whole thing.

We drive through Kachiguda some mornings. The roads near the station get busy around school time, so if a van comes from Attapur, I would ask how early the pickup is. A very early start can be hard on a four year old, and that might decide it for you more than the school day itself.
