Not your side, sorry. We skipped the high chair and used a booster seat strapped to a dining chair. Cheaper, and it still comes with us on trips.

Whichever one you choose, check that the tray comes off and fits in your sink. Ours didn't, and washing it in the bathroom became a daily task I hadn't accounted for.

If the shop allows it, put the baby in it. The footrest height mattered more for us than anything on the label. Without one they slide down and fuss within ten minutes.

We borrowed one from a neighbour for the first month before buying. Found out exactly what we disliked about it, then bought the opposite.

Thirteen years on, the high chair is the one purchase I'd spend less on. He used it seriously for maybe a year and a half, after which it held laundry.

The baby stores along the main road in Tarnaka used to keep a few on display, but that was when my daughter was small, so check before you drive over 🙂
