School wants a stream preference from class 9 students already. Is that normal?

Handed our 13 year old the cash and the plan for one Sunday. Here's how it went

1on My 2 year old found his own Saturday company, a retired uncle on the colony park bench
This takes me back. When my son was around that age his favourite person was our building watchman. Every evening he had to go down and 'check' the gate with him. It lasted about two years and the watchman still asks after him. Some of those friendships beat anything you can arrange.
2on anyone know dazzling high school near charminar? thinking ahead for a 2 year old
One thing to keep in mind though: in a lot of schools, nursery forms for June start going out around now. If he turns 3 next year, that's not as far off as it feels. Doesn't mean the house has to be decided first, just that the two timelines may overlap.
2on How do we start getting our 4 year old assessed? Kompally side
No experience with this myself. One practical thing from any long hospital visit with a small child: when you book, ask how long the first appointment usually runs, pick a slot when he's normally rested, and carry snacks and one favourite toy. If both of you can go, it helps to have one person answering questions and one keeping an eye on him.
6on Do you take your 4 year old on school visits or go without her?
We did this round about ten years ago. Took him to all of them and he remembered only the ones with a fish tank. I'd go alone first and judge the things she can't, like the classrooms, the teachers' manner and the drive.
1on Zero period at 7.15 for class 9, and his tuition ends at 9 pm
Weekend mornings are not possible, his tuition batch is fixed and he wants to stay with his friends. I will ask whether he can skip one weekday when there is a zero period. At least that gives him two shorter evenings.
4on Came home after a night shift to breakfast my teenagers had made, with instructions
Frame the note. In a few years it will be the only evidence.
3on Five days at daycare, and on Saturdays she won't let either of us out of sight
Not much to add on the phase question, but one thing helped us back when our son was that age: a fixed Saturday morning with one parent. Same park, same breakfast, same order. He seemed to relax once the weekend had a shape to it.
0on Diary note says my class 3 son 'answers before the question is finished'
Had this exact note about our son in class 3. His teacher started giving him a job instead: write the answer on a slip, hand it to her, and she'd read out the best ones at the end. He felt trusted instead of shut down. Might be worth suggesting if the teacher hasn't tried something like it.
0on Son's family may rent in Attapur next year. How is SR Digi School there for a class 4 joiner?
Agree on the van timing. Our son's pickup moved to 6.50 when the route was redrawn this June, and for the first month he was half asleep in class. Ask for the time at that specific stop, not the school's start time.
2on Engineering counselling choice list this week. How many options did your child fill?
Near home isn't the worst reason, though. My son is 13 and if it comes to it, I'd take a decent college near home over a big name in a city he doesn't know. Depends on the boy.
1on Family bought the class 2 books early and now wants the teacher in the house to start them
We did the pre-teaching thing before class 6 maths with my son, at his grandfather's insistence. He was ahead for about three weeks, coasted, stopped listening in class, and was behind by the first unit test. One data point, but I'd keep the textbooks shut and do the things school never has time for. Library books, telling the time, paying at the shop and checking the change.
