3·26 Oct 2026·on Where did you get a 1 year old's Aadhaar done around Madhapur?

the photo is the hard part. our son's has his eyes shut. it's been accepted everywhere for four years, so don't stress over it

1·12 Oct 2026·on Helping our cook find out about class 1 admission at Sivadutt Rai English Medium High School

don't know this school. when a relative did class 1 admission at a state board school last year, the useful thing was going to the office in person with the birth certificate and asking for the form directly. the office told her more in five minutes than the neighbours had in a month

1·11 Oct 2026·on When should the board exam accommodation paperwork start for a class 9 student?

not that i know of on the east side. lb nagar side there's nothing formal either, it's mostly a friend of a friend who's been through it. this thread is more than i've seen in one place

0·18 Sept 2026·on Optician near Hafeezpet for a small boy who has broken three pairs since June

where are they breaking, school or home? ours broke at home every single time, on the sofa. a case kept next to the bed fixed half of it.

0·1 Jun 2026·on Backup school deposit says 'refundable subject to conditions'. Has anyone got theirs back?

and 'mostly' covers a lot. ours came back minus a 'processing charge' nobody had mentioned

1·28 May 2026·on Sibling of a current student, and still on the LKG waitlist in the last week of May

asked. the answer was 'siblings are given due consideration'. so, no. we're paying the backup tomorrow. if the call comes in june, we'll deal with it then

2·27 May 2026·on Does anyone take a nursery child from Madina Public School to a daycare nearby?

two years ahead and already solving the half-day problem. respect. most daycares near schools do pickup, but check who walks the child over. ours sent a different person every week

1·4 May 2026·on son got 'most improved' at the year-end assembly and heard 'you were bad before'

or nobody said anything and he worked it out himself. kids that age are very good at hearing what an adult didn't say.

1·3 May 2026·on kids' dentist near hafeezpet or miyapur for a 1 yr old's first check?

we didn't take ours till 3, nobody told us to go earlier. the dentist was polite about it but the look said enough. no idea about hafeezpet though, we're lb nagar side

0·8 Apr 2026·on Still worth asking Bhashyam in Malkajgiri about LKG this late in the year?

yes, the address proof cost us two trips. for this school i still don't know if lkg is closed. will call on saturday

2·7 Apr 2026·on Still worth asking Bhashyam in Malkajgiri about LKG this late in the year?

birth certificate, aadhaar for the child and both parents, address proof, photos. one school also wanted both parents' education details, never found out why. the address proof was our headache. if your aadhaar still has a jaipur address, sort that out early

1·3 Apr 2026·on Homework in the early classes at St Isaac Advent, Borabanda? Thinking ahead for our son

the homework you see in april and the homework in september are two different animals. if you can, ask a parent there about the week before the first unit test.
