Paid a deposit at a second school in March for grade 7, as a backup. Daughter is staying where she is. Receipt says refundable 'subject to conditions'. Conditions not listed anywhere I can find 😄 Did anyone get the money back? How long did it take?
Check what the receipt calls it. For my granddaughter's UKG her parents paid an 'admission fee' and a 'caution deposit'. The first one never comes back. The second one does, mostly.
and 'mostly' covers a lot. ours came back minus a 'processing charge' nobody had mentioned
Did you get anything in writing at the time? I'd email the accounts office rather than admissions. Admissions will only say they'll check.
Receipt plus one email from March. Emailing accounts tomorrow morning.
Found the March email. 'Refundable if withdrawn before 15 June.' So two weeks, and a good reason to be polite.
Next year this is us with LKG backups. Taking notes 😅
