LKG checklist wants copies 'attested by a gazetted officer'. Is that still a thing?
Son's LKG admission is confirmed, pending documents. The checklist asks for copies of his birth certificate, Aadhaar and our address proof, each 'attested by a gazetted officer'. I thought self-attestation replaced this years ago. For our daughter's admission at another school, we just signed the copies ourselves. The office says the checklist is the checklist. Did anyone get away with self-attested copies, or do I go and find a gazetted officer this week? I don't think I know any. I'm not sure I'd recognise one.
