Langar Houz side a lot of the school pickups are by thathayya and ammamma, from what I've seen when I visit my relatives there. So you won't be the only family doing it that way. About this school's nursery I can't say, better to see one morning yourself.

Ramanthapur is close-ish to us. I don't know anyone at that school personally, but tell him to go once at closing time and see how the children are picked up, and to ask about the Telugu and Hindi periods. On our side that's usually the first thing families ask, kada?

Even my 9 year old's olympiad form got us calls from 'foundation course' people, ayyo. Now I give a second number on every form, one that nobody picks up. Doesn't help you now, but for the next forms.

A friend's son was at Bhanodaya till UKG and then moved. She liked that it was small and close by, that's all I know firsthand. Ask if you can see the LKG classroom during school hours, that tells you more than this thread will.

My akka says the same about her son. Nothing in summer and good marks. But she also says he cried every night in December 🙂 so maybe a little reading in May would have saved December?

We're about five minutes from a school (a different one, not Sagar Grammar). Morning is vans, horns and parents double-parked for twenty minutes, then dead quiet. Evenings are lovely, the kids play in the lane after. With a baby, the 8 o'clock noise was the only thing that bothered us, because of nap timing. The walking distance only mattered once she was in school, and even then we used the van because of the heat. So I wouldn't pay extra for it now :)

Bus for grandfather is the best one 😄 ours called her thatha 'tata' and the car 'tata' also, so the whole family was confused for a month. These days she corrects everybody's Telugu.
