Every flat the broker shows us in Uppal is 'walking distance to Sagar Grammar'. Our daughter is eight months old

We're looking for a bigger flat within Uppal before our lease ends. Three brokers, nine flats, and every single one has been pitched as walking distance to Sagar Grammar High School, as if that settles it. Our daughter is eight months old. School is years away and we have no idea where she'll go. Two questions for people who live near a school. Do you value it, or regret it at 8 am and 3 pm? And does paying extra to be near one make any sense with a baby?

We're about five minutes from a school (a different one, not Sagar Grammar). Morning is vans, horns and parents double-parked for twenty minutes, then dead quiet. Evenings are lovely, the kids play in the lane after. With a baby, the 8 o'clock noise was the only thing that bothered us, because of nap timing. The walking distance only mattered once she was in school, and even then we used the van because of the heat. So I wouldn't pay extra for it now :)

Twenty minutes of horns at 8 is useful. That's exactly when she naps. We're leaning towards the one whose listing doesn't mention a school at all.
