Private universities and coaching centres call my class 12 daughter every day. Who gave them her number?

She registered for two entrance tests in July. Since then, five or six calls a day. Private universities, a coaching centre, one 'counselling service' that wanted a fee to tell us which college to pick. One caller knew her school name and her class 11 percentage. That is the part I want explained. She never put that on any form I know of. Has anyone managed to stop these? Blocking numbers one at a time is pointless, they come from new ones.

We get them for my son already and he's only in class 10. Started after a scholarship test at a coaching centre. I'm fairly sure the test registration is where the number went out.

Even my 9 year old's olympiad form got us calls from 'foundation course' people, ayyo. Now I give a second number on every form, one that nobody picks up. Doesn't help you now, but for the next forms.

I run a small business and get this from the other side. Once a list like that is put together it gets passed around, so blocking one number does very little. What cut it down for us was registering the number on DND and never confirming any detail on a call. Takes a week or two to show.
