Bus for grandfather is the best one 😄 ours called her thatha 'tata' and the car 'tata' also, so the whole family was confused for a month. These days she corrects everybody's Telugu.

Our younger son's first word was 'ball', and for months everything round was ball, including the moon and a chapati. It sorted itself out gradually. As far as I remember the second word came quite a while after the first and then they arrived in a rush. Our elder one was slower still, and he's fifteen now and has plenty of words, mostly 'fine'.
