Does Kakatiya Techno School in Vanasthalipuram ever let colony children use its ground on Sundays?

Our colony park has been half under water since the rains started and the other half is a parking lot now. My daughter and the other kids in our lane have nowhere to run around in the evenings or on Sundays, so they end up on the road or on phones. Kakatiya Techno School is right behind us and the ground looks empty every time we pass on a holiday. A couple of the boys say they've seen children playing there on Sundays, but nobody knows if that was allowed or just tolerated. Does anyone know whether the school ever allows this, and who we should even ask? I'd rather do it properly through the office than have the kids climbing the gate.

schools near us won't touch it, they worry about who's responsible if a kid gets hurt. but asking costs nothing

Our colony tried this with a school in Kukatpally a few years ago. They said yes, but only if an adult signed a register and stayed the whole time. Go to the principal directly, not the watchman.

And put the request in writing with the names of the adults who will be responsible. A school is far more likely to agree to a named group than to 'colony children'.

teacher here, different school. the principal can say yes but usually management decides, and the first thing they think about is liability. go with one or two parents who'll be there every single time

Before the school, try complaining about the park drain? Ma colony lo same problem undedi, a few complaints and they finally cleared it. The kids got the park back in two weeks.

We've complained twice already 😊 Will try once more, and I'm drafting a letter to the school with two other mothers this weekend.
