My son interviewed me for a class project on careers. I got 3 out of 5 for 'answers too long'

Class 6 project: interview an adult about their work. He chose me, which I was quietly pleased about. Ten questions, a notebook, very professional. The feedback form he filled in afterwards rated me 5 for 'interesting job', 4 for 'polite', and 3 for 'answers', with the remark 'too long, he kept saying first let me give you some background'. Thirty years of lecturing and my harshest reviewer lives in my house.

my daughter interviewed me for the same kind of project last year. her summary of twenty-odd years of surgery was 'mumma looks inside ears and is mostly at the hospital'. no rating, which i now think was a kindness

No rating is the kind version. My 15 year old marks my explanations by how many times I say 'basically'. Last count was eleven in one dinner.

I am taking notes. Mine is 6 and already stops listening after my second sentence, so I suspect my own score would be lower than both of yours.
