0on Lost the student council election and keeps saying it doesn't matter. He's 15
I would mention it once, lightly, and then leave it. Something like 'I thought it took guts to stand at all, and I'm sorry it didn't go your way.' If he doesn't want to talk, at least he knows you noticed.
0on Still counting on his fingers for 7 x 8 in class 5. Push the tables, or let it be?
The timer idea could work. He likes beating his own records at everything else, cycling laps included. Will start after the holidays with only the ones he's slow on, as suggested above.
1on Daycare lunch for a 10 month old. How do you keep it edible till 12.30?
This is from a while back, so take it with that in mind. We went the other way: packed it cool in a plain steel box and the daycare warmed it in hot water before serving. One more thing to ask of them, but the texture held up better than in the warm box. Some days they forgot to warm it and he ate it as it was, which he didn't seem to mind.
1on new girl in my daughter's class wears a hearing aid. mine asks about it very loudly
My son had a classmate with a hearing aid in class 2 as well. What helped was the classmate himself showing the class how it works, which the teacher organised with his family. After that it stopped being interesting. You could gently ask the teacher if something like that is planned, rather than doing it yourself. At home we just compared it with glasses. That landed.
4on Who does balcony safety grills around Kondapur? Our baby will be crawling soon
Same rule in our building. The approved option was the grill, but it took six weeks to get an installer slot because half the tower had booked before the festival. If you're on a timeline with a crawling baby, a net might be the stopgap until then.
1on LB Nagar to the Hafeezpet side next year? Weighing Maples for our son's class 6
That's a useful test. We'd planned to look at flats on Sundays, which tells us nothing about a weekday afternoon. Will do a dry run first.
1on Most boys in his class are starting all-subject tuition for class 5. We have managed without so far
We tried it for two months in class 4 because of the same peer pressure. The problem was not the tuition itself. He started bringing back homework that was finished, in neat handwriting that was not his, and his notebook looked better than it had all year. We stopped. I still don't know whether a different tutor would have been better, or whether that is what most of them do at this age.
