Car nap at 5 is exactly my fear, then he's up till 10. Did you move bedtime straight to 7 or bit by bit?
0on My 4 year old blames everything on a cat. We don't have a cat.
I teach older kids and have a toddler. We see this a lot around 4 or 5. I wouldn't call it lying yet. Ask the cat to help clean up.

I teach, at a different school. Visit at dispersal time on a regular weekday, not on an open day. You'll see how the little ones get handed to their parents and how tired they look. Tells you more than a brochure.

Ours comes out in April for the full year, though it still changes once or twice. I'll ask St. Rita for theirs when I go past. Daycare month by month is the same for us, very annoying.

Checked with my partner last night. They don't mind the Saturday. They mind that he naps better for me. So that's the real issue.

Our paediatrician told us to pick one and always use the same one, so that the numbers compare over the day. In our house the forehead gun also reads higher than the underarm one. We keep it for a quick check while he's sleeping and confirm with the digital one.
