Asked to take extra classes after school twice a week. Daycare pickup is the problem

Teacher here. School is starting remedial sessions for the senior classes, two evenings a week till about 5. Daycare closes at 6 and on a bad day the drive takes most of an hour. My partner's hospital evenings are not predictable. Has anyone worked out a two-evenings arrangement with a daycare staff member or a neighbour? Or do I just tell the school no this year.
