1on Blue streak in her hair over the Diwali break. Our 14 year old has made her case
teacher here. if its mostly gone by reopening nobody will care much. if its still bright blue on day one someone will send a note home thats all
0on Is Shri Gujarat Vidya Mandir in Abids open to families who don't speak Gujarati?
visit on a working weekday not saturday. stand outside at dispersal for ten minutes. you learn more there than at the front desk
1on 10 year old has appointed himself the toddler's translator. I don't trust his translations
my niece did this with her baby cousin at every family function. 'she wants to go up to the terrace' meaning niece wants to go to the terrace. lasted till the baby learnt to say no
1on When does Pragati Vidya Niketan High School open nursery forms, and how do people find out?
Going in person is the right call. Speaking as a teacher, most schools put the notice up at the office first and anything online comes later if at all. Office staff will usually tell you the month even if dates aren't fixed. Go on a weekday morning after assembly, not at pickup time when they're swamped
6on Five boys, a monsoon fort trek near Lonavala, and no adult going
which fort though. a well known one on a sunday with families everywhere is a different thing from a quiet trail after two days of heavy rain. i'd say yes to the first one a lot faster
1on How much homework comes home in class 1 at Kakatiya Techno School, Moula Ali?
not this school but i teach primary and the honest answer is it depends on the teacher more than the school. on the visit ask if you can look through a class 1 notebook from the year that just ended and count the pages done at home
teacher here, different school. class 7 is a decent year to move in my experience, 8 and 9 get heavier everywhere. most joiners i've taught found their feet by the first unit test
