4on School library lets him pick one book a week. He's borrowed the same space book five times
Our paapa did the same with one book about elephants. Her parents let it be. On the days she is with me I read the other books to her at night. She will not choose them, but she listens.
1on Giving our caregiver a weekly menu without it turning into the same four dishes
Agree with options. I did the cooking plan for my granddaughter's household for a while. A list of eight or ten dishes on the fridge, she ticked what she made. Nobody felt checked on.
1on Every school brochure says 1:20. The class 1 room we saw had 38 desks
My daughter had 52 in her class and she turned out fine. Still, 38 at age six is a lot for one teacher.
2on My toddler lectures her soft toys with one finger raised. I teach for a living.
You do the finger. All teachers do the finger. My granddaughter used to scold her dolls in exactly her amma's voice. Children see everything.
0on 13 yr old redraws every science record diagram until it's perfect. 3 hours last night
Rough sheet is a good idea. My granddaughter also erases till the paper tears. Her teacher told them a neat diagram with correct labels gets full marks, and a perfect one gets the same marks. That stopped some of it.
1on Read every night till April. Since the holidays started, not one page
Restart now, but small. With my granddaughter I asked her to read to me, ten minutes, any book, comics also fine. Reading to someone is different from reading alone.
Our son and daughter-in-law did this for two years when my granddaughter was small. It worked because they kept Sunday mornings for each other, whatever else happened. The rest was just tiredness, and that passed.
