1on Class 1 has a star chart for good behaviour. My son hasn't had a star in two weeks
My partner spoke to the teacher at drop-off this morning. She was surprised, says he is doing well and she had not noticed the gap, and has promised to look at it. I am still not sure a chart like that suits a child like him, but at least it has been noticed.

On the wall, by the door, so the children see it as they leave. It resets on Mondays. He has told us exactly where his name is: bottom row, on the left.
1on Class 1 daughter says everyone in her class goes to tuition except her
We were in the same position in June. Our son asked to go to an evening tuition with a friend, so we tried it for two weeks. By Thursday each week he was exhausted, and nothing in his schoolwork changed. We stopped, and nobody at school noticed either way.
2on Everyone says read to her from birth. What does that look like at four months?
For what it's worth, our paediatrician said that at that age it's less about the book and more about hearing your voice and seeing your face up close. So a story while she watches the fan probably still counts. What stuck with my son, now in class 1, was a high-contrast cloth book with a mirror on the last page. He kicked every time we got to the mirror. Do you find she responds more to faces than to pictures?

That made me laugh, thank you. So if I am patient, I will eventually be the one he argues with.
4on Our caregiver tells our son 'the crow will take you' when he won't eat
We had the same conversation with our caregiver last year, framed almost exactly like that, and she stopped within a week. My parents still bring up the monkey when they visit. Caregivers are easier.
