Ten months, thousands of baby photos, none printed. Did anyone make an album?

My phone says I've taken more photos this year than in the previous five put together, nearly all of our son. Nothing is printed. My mother keeps asking for 'a proper album' like the ones she made for me, and I keep saying I'll do it on the weekend. For those who did make one: did you print everything, or pick a few from each month? And did you keep it going after the first year, or stop at the first birthday like I suspect I will?

printed one per month for each boy, a small album each. rest lives on the laptop and nobody looks at it

I printed only a few. The one I like most is his first Onam, in the very small mundu. He is five now and he likes to hold the photo and see how tiny he was. The rest are on the phone.

Back everything up before you start choosing. We lost a phone with four months of photos on it when our son was a baby, and the album has a gap nobody can fill. After that, be ruthless. Twenty good prints beat two hundred.
