partner wants to order the entire baby list in the diwali sale

lilac_trail_4250

the festival sales are on and my partner has a cart with a cot, stroller, bouncer, steriliser, a rocker and two different carriers. plan is to check out before the sale ends this weekend. i'd rather buy the basics and see what we need. but it's hard to argue with the discount. anyone who bought the whole lot in a sale before the birth, how much of it got used? was the saving worth it

My son is 11, so this is from a while ago. I bought nearly everything early. The cot and pram were fine. The rocker he hated from day one, and I had two carriers when I only ever used one. If the sale allows returns, buy the big things and leave the small ones.

Did exactly this with our youngest, who's one now. The stroller we got in a sale was a great price and didn't fit in the boot of our car. We bought a lighter one two months later. Anything meant for the car, check it against the car first.

Baby is 8 months and half that cart could have waited, deliveries come in a day anyway. The cot we barely used till 6 months because she slept next to us. Carrier wala, one, used every day. Bouncer, maybe five times 🙂 Itna sab ek saath mat lo, that's my vote.
