Spent twenty minutes folding the new stroller. My partner's aunt did it in one go.

The stroller arrived on Saturday. I watched the video twice, read the little booklet, and still spent about twenty minutes in the parking area pressing the wrong buttons while two kids from the next block watched. My partner's aunt came down to see it, put her tea on the car bonnet, pressed one thing with her foot and it folded. Then she picked up her tea and went back up. Baby is due in a few months and I would like to get this down before then.

    The aunt has folded many strollers. You have folded one. Give it a week of doing it every day and you'll be the one with the tea.

    Ha. I've had two kids go through strollers and I never learnt what the second lever on ours was for. We gave it away still not knowing. The aunts always know. Nobody knows how they know.

    Did you check whether it fits in your boot once it's folded? We found out on the day we were leaving the hospital that ours only went in at an angle, and the bags had to go on the back seat with us.

      I had not even thought about the boot. Will check in the morning before office.

      Checked. It fits only if the parcel shelf comes out. So the parcel shelf now lives in our flat, behind the sofa.

    Wait till you have to do it with the baby on one arm and the bag on the other. Ours mostly stays open in the boot now because neither of us wants to fold it in the heat 😄
