Son's friends have started sending me their sports injuries

Through him, on his phone. A swollen ankle from Sunday football, 'amma can you just see this once'. Then a knee. Then somebody's cousin's wrist. I don't mind a look. But I haven't seen these boys, I don't know what happened, and I don't want to be the WhatsApp ortho for his whole batch. How do I stop this without him feeling I've shown him up in front of his friends? haha

Happens with every job. Since my daughter started college her friends forward me their statement-of-purpose drafts for 'a quick look'. What worked was a standard line she could pass on: show your own teacher first, then my dad will see it if you still want. Puts the gate with the kids, not with you 🤷

up with the baby and reading this. at school the older boys do the same with our nurse, they'll show her anything as long as it isn't their parents. i think it says something about how he talks about you at home, even if it's a nuisance
