She does her class 2 homework in the lunch break now. Her teacher isn't impressed

Two weeks into class 2 and beti has worked out that if she finishes her homework in the lunch break, her evenings are free. I was delighted, if I'm honest. I'm in theatre two days a week and the 8 pm homework sitting was the worst part of those days. Today the teacher wrote in the diary that homework is 'meant to be done at home, with revision'. The work is all correct. Ab kya karun? Back the teacher, or back my very efficient daughter? 😊

What exactly is the teacher's objection? If the work is correct, 'done at home' is a rule about where, not about learning. I'd ask her what revision she means and whether anyone is actually setting it.

Ours is in KG and gets no homework at all yet, so I'm reading this as a success story 🙂 Only thing I'd check is whether she's still eating her lunch in that lunch break.
