4on On-call week, and now the alert sound wakes the baby too
The other room works if the other parent isn't also working the next morning. We tried it when our son was a baby and by Thursday the 'off' parent was more tired than the one on call. Decide who covers which nights before the week starts, not at 2 am.
3on She does her class 2 homework in the lunch break now. Her teacher isn't impressed
What exactly is the teacher's objection? If the work is correct, 'done at home' is a rule about where, not about learning. I'd ask her what revision she means and whether anyone is actually setting it.
1on Class 2 stationery list says 'one art kit (good quality)'. Good quality according to whom?
Buy the cheapest one that has everything listed and works. Nobody checks the brand. Our son's 'good quality' crayons were snapped in half by August either way, and the teacher never once asked.
1on My daughter would rather I skip her show than leave halfway for a call
I'd take her at her word. At that age she has probably thought it through more than we give her credit for. Let your partner record it, then take her out the next day and watch it together with her doing the commentary. My daughter liked that better than having us in the audience.
0on Every cap and sunhat comes straight off her head. How do you keep anything on a toddler in May?
Is it the cap or the strap under the chin? Ours tore off anything that touched her neck but kept her grandfather's old cotton towel tied on loosely, like his. We let her pick it from his cupboard, which probably mattered more than the towel.
6on Which second language do primary children take at Indu International School, Nagole?
Compulsory on paper, yes. How seriously it's taught in the early classes is another matter. My son's school treated it as mostly spoken till about class 3, and then the writing came all at once. I'd ask about class 3 and 4, not class 1.
1on Partner wants to ask the school if our daughter can skip class 3
That's what I'd worry about too. The studies are the easy part. Also, most schools I know go strictly by age for each class now, so they may not even consider it.
