Partner can't stand the smell of anything cooking. What did you eat for those weeks?

Pregnant partner, early days. Tadka, onions, even rice boiling sends her out of the flat. Our cook comes at 7 am and the smell is still around at lunch. I've been eating at the office and bringing nothing home, but she still needs to eat something. What did you live on during this phase? Practical answers please, we're both a bit lost.

This was me with both pregnancies. What got us through was cold food: curd rice, poha made the night before and eaten cold, fruit, plain toast, buttermilk. Anything hot smelt worse. We also moved the cooking to early morning with every window open and the exhaust on, and my partner ate dinner out more often than he'd like to admit. It did ease off for me after some weeks. Has she been able to keep any particular food down so far?

Tried the cold curd rice and fruit this week. Curd rice works, fruit only if it's cut and cold from the fridge. Cook now comes at 6 with the windows open. Small wins.
