Our car has no ISOFIX. Anyone around Habsiguda or Tarnaka who can check a seatbelt-fitted baby seat?

We're moving our son from the infant carrier to a bigger seat. Our car is old enough that it has no ISOFIX points, so the seat goes in with the seatbelt. The manual makes it look simple; in practice it wobbles more than I'd like. Is there a shop on the Habsiguda side where the staff will check the fitting, or did you learn to do it yourself? I'd rather ask people who have done it than trust a video.

The shop in Kukatpally where we bought ours fitted it in our car before we left, though that was some years ago. Their test was simple: hold the seat where the belt goes through and it shouldn't move more than about an inch side to side. Putting a knee in the seat while tightening made the difference for us.

Same issue with our old car years back. Kneel in the seat and pull the belt tight, that's the trick. Also check whether your belt locks when you pull it all the way out. Ours didn't, and that's why it kept loosening.

we never used a car seat when our daughter was small. everyone just held babies on their laps then. looking back i don't know why we thought that was fine. good that you're asking

up for work, saw this. the big baby stores usually have someone who'll come out to the car if you go on a weekday. weekends they're too busy. no idea about your side specifically
