Nursery next June ends at 12.30, right when she naps. Keep daycare for the afternoons?

Daughter is 2. Applying for nursery for next June. Most of the schools we've looked at finish around 12.30, and right now she sleeps from 1 to 3 at daycare. Do kids that age manage school in the morning and daycare after, nap included? Or does the nap just fall apart.

What does the daycare say? That's the part that decides it. Ask whether they take half-day children and where those children sleep. My 3 year old started preschool this year and her nap simply moved to 1.30 at home without much drama, but that's home, not a room full of kids already asleep.

From memory, with my son: the nap moved, but the real problem was the transfer. Asleep in the car, woken at the daycare door, cranky for the whole afternoon. If the daycare is close to the school it matters much less.

Daycare is ten minutes from two of the schools. Will ask them about half-day kids this week.
