Gave my 12 year old the final say on changing schools. The form closes before she's ready.

My elder daughter is in class 7. Her current school is nearly an hour on the bus each way. There's a school about ten minutes from our place in Gachibowli with class 8 seats for next year, and the shorter commute alone would give her back more than an hour and a half a day. We decided early on that since she's the one who has to start over with new classmates, she would make the call. She visited, liked the library and the labs, and then said she needs more time because all her friends are staying where they are. Applications close in mid-November. She has asked to decide after Diwali, which leaves about four days. I don't want to take the decision back from her. Nor do I want to lose the option just because she ran out of time. We could apply anyway and withdraw if she says no, but then it isn't really her decision any more, is it?
