inter first year and a test every sunday since june

cedar_compass_4865

son's college has a weekly test every sunday morning plus a 'grand test' once a month on top. he hasn't had a full free day since june. weekdays it's college till 5 and he's too tired to revise properly after. i get that this is how inter works. just want to know if anyone's kid skipped some of the sunday tests and whether it mattered 🤷

My nephew went through the same at his college two years ago. He skipped the odd one when he was unwell and nobody said much, but the college did call home when it became a habit. Worth finding out whether yours tracks the Sunday tests as attendance.

I wrote Sunday tests through both years of Inter in the nineties, so this isn't new, though I don't remember a monthly one on top of the weekly. Looking back, the weekly tests were more useful than they felt at the time, mostly for speed. The big monthly ones I could have done without. Is the problem the Sundays themselves, or that he has no time on weekdays to fix whatever the tests show up?

the speed point is fair. i did class 12 with nothing like this and was slow in every exam until medical college. not sure which is worse

mine is in class 10 and the tuition centre has started sunday tests too. by the time they reach inter there won't be any weekend left to argue about
