Daughter starts class 4 this month at a school 40 minutes away by van. Nightingale High School in Somajiguda is a ten minute walk from our flat in Domalguda. We'd be looking at next year, not now. Not looking for 'good school, nice teachers'. Two specific questions for parents there: roughly how many children are in a class 4 section, and what does a normal weekday's homework look like?
Can't help on Nightingale. From the admin side in general: section sizes change year to year depending on who leaves, so whatever a parent tells you about this year may not hold for next year. Ask the school for the current strength of class 4 and 5 when you visit. Most will tell you if you ask straight.
Is that something schools are usually willing to share before you have applied? I asked two schools about nursery numbers last year and got vague answers both times.
Three days and no one from Nightingale has answered. When we were looking for our daughter years ago, the only reliable way was to stand outside at dismissal time and ask a parent or two. People are surprisingly open at the gate.
Keep going
