Homework and weekly tests in class 3 at Genius Grammer, Tolichowki?

We're considering renting near my mother in Tolichowki next year, which would put Genius Grammer High School within walking distance. Our elder son would join class 3. He's at a CBSE school now and the homework is manageable, about half an hour a day. I'd like to know what a typical week looks like there in the primary classes: daily homework, weekly tests or only term exams, and how much written work comes home to be copied. Experiences from current parents would be most useful. I know the change of board is a separate question.

Would your younger son move at the same time, or stay where he is for now? I only ask because when we compared schools, the drop-off arrangement for two children ended up deciding more than the homework did.

At the visit, see if they'll show you a real class 3 notebook from this term, not the sample work on the display board. The routine is in the notebooks: how often homework is set, how it is corrected, how much of it is copying.

Tried exactly that at two schools when ours were small. One was happy to show us; the other said they couldn't share students' work. Both answers told us something.
