Her class 12 commerce tuition batch has grown to 40. Move her to a smaller one now?

When my daughter joined in April, the accounts and economics batch had about fifteen students. It is now close to forty, and she says the teacher no longer looks at individual work. Doubts wait till the end, when there is a queue. There is a smaller batch with another teacher nearby, but switching in July means a new teacher's methods in the middle of the syllabus. For parents who switched during class 12, was it worth the disruption?

Teacher here, CBSE side. Forty in a tuition batch is basically a second classroom. If her doubts are waiting till the end, that's the real problem, not the number itself. Before switching, can she sit in one class at the new place? Most will allow a trial. July is not too late, there's still a lot of syllabus ahead.

A trial class is a good idea, I hadn't thought of asking. My other worry is that she likes the friends in her current batch more than she likes the teaching.

i was in a forty-student accounts tuition in my own class 12 and stayed for the friends too. learnt more from them than from the teacher, if i'm honest. not saying that's advice

That made me laugh. She would probably say the same. We'll do the trial class on Saturday and let her decide after that.
