Found a café near Nizampet with a clean changing table. We've been back three times this week

Small win, but with a 3 month old this is our whole social life now. It's a tiny place, and apparently the owner's sister had a baby last year and insisted. Changing table in the washroom, a sofa corner where I can feed without anyone staring, and nobody minds us sitting over one coffee for an hour. Amma thinks we're mad for taking her out at all. My partner has started calling it 'the office' 🙂

This ought to be more common. When our son was small, the only reliable changing tables we found were in hospitals and the big malls, and even there half of them were out of order.

The out-of-order ones were the worst, because you only found out after walking all the way there. We ended up using the back seat of the car more often than not.

three visits in a week is how a café becomes your café. by month two they'll start your coffee when they see the pram

our changing table for the first year was the car boot. respect to this place 😂

car boot was our plan too, until we tried it one afternoon in this heat. never again

Which road is it on? We're in Hafeezpet and our little one is still at the stage where this matters. Would love one place to go that isn't a mall.

It is good to read that the owner did it because of someone in the family. Most useful changes in this city seem to start that way. When our daughter was a baby we fed her in the car outside restaurants far too often.

Worth telling the owner that this is why you keep coming back. Small places tend to drop the extras when nobody seems to use them.

Too far for us in Tolichowki, but now I'm looking at every café near us differently. Is there a sink? A sofa? It never occurred to me to check ❤️
