Film club or screening group that a 15 year old could join, near Puppalaguda or Gachibowli?

My daughter has just finished her SSC exams and, to my surprise, wants to spend some of the summer watching old Malayalam and world cinema with me. We've done four films in a week. She has opinions about all of them, which I'm enjoying. I'd like her to have somewhere to talk about films with people other than her mother. Is there a film club, screening society or discussion group on this side of the city that welcomes teenagers, or at least doesn't mind one sitting in? Weekends would suit us. I'd go along the first few times.

Does it have to be films only? I'm in a book club in Bachupally that has two college students in it, and they talk about film adaptations half the time. Not quite what you asked, I know.

I don't know about film clubs here, I came only for my granddaughter. But in Varanasi when I was teaching, the college had a film society and the schoolchildren used to come and sit at the back. The teenagers argued more than anybody. Ask at the colleges near you, beti, they may let her sit in.

That is a good thought. Some engineering colleges have student film clubs with open screenings, though I'm not sure how welcoming they'd be to a 15 year old without a parent. Worth asking whether a parent can attend too.

Not the same thing, but some cafés run small screenings with a discussion afterwards. A 15 year old with a parent would be fine at most of them. I'd check the film choice beforehand, they're not all family viewing.
