Our son is 7 and full of energy after school. He doesn't want coaching-coaching, drills and cones and all that. He wants to kick a ball around with other kids and come home tired. Any place in Bachupally or Nizampet side that has a relaxed kids batch on weekday evenings? Not looking for an academy pitch yet, just regular play with some supervision.
We are in Madhapur, so I cannot help with places on your side. One thing I would ask anywhere: whether the 6 to 8 year olds play separately from the older children. My daughter left a mixed batch because the bigger boys never passed to her.
At 7, 'just run around' is basically all football is anyway 😂 our son's coach spends half the session on tag games and nobody minds
I drive back through Miyapur most evenings and see a couple of turf grounds with kids' groups, mostly on weekends from what I can tell. Weekday evenings might be harder to find, but it might be worth stopping in and asking.
What time does he get home from school? The weekday batches we looked at in Kukatpally all started at 5, which only works if someone other than the parents can do the drop.
