Class 9 starts in three weeks and my son has been rehearsing a 'new me' in the bathroom mirror

sunny_compass_798

Heard him through the door last night: practising a slower walk, a nod instead of a wave, and the line 'yeah, it was alright' in three different tones. Apparently summer is when you become a different person, and class 9 is where you unveil him. He came out, saw me in the corridor, and said 'what' in what I think was tone number two. I have never been prouder ♥

Tone number two is the one that lasts. Our son unveiled his version in class 8 and it survived until the first PT period, when he tripped over a cone in front of everyone.

Mine changed his handwriting over the summer. Very slanted now. His teacher will be thrilled, I'm sure.

      Replying to @fern_lantern_5522

Two sentences is generous. Ours drops it the moment food arrives.
