Hand-lettered, taped at eye level, "Exams. Do not disturb". Since 7 he has come out for biscuits, a banana, the charger, chai, "just checking something" and more biscuits. I'm the on-call one this week, so I'm in no position to judge anyone's concentration.
My 14 year old's sign came with a list of approved interruptions underneath. Food was first on the list.
When my children had exams, the kitchen never closed. Some things don't change.
Ha, approved interruptions. My daughter's list says 'emergencies only' and, under it, 'chai' ❤

Did the sign survive the first exam? My daughter's came down after two days because, she said, it was making her more nervous, not less.
