Our son starts nursery next June, and my partner and I both lean towards ICSE. Every school we pass near home or towards LB Nagar seems to be CBSE or State Board. Before we start driving around: does anyone have an ICSE school near here on their list? Or do people give up and go by distance at this age 😄
Looking back at our two, the board made almost no difference until about class 3. Distance made a difference every single day. If the ICSE options turn out to be forty minutes away, I'd think hard about that drive with a three year old. Lovely that you're starting early though ❤
A few months old here, and my partner has already asked me this exact question about the schools near us. Watching this one for answers.
Same timeline at our end, with a daughter under one. I have started to wonder whether anyone really chooses a board at the nursery stage, or whether it is distance first and board second for most families. It would help to hear from someone who chose the far school and kept it.
