Anything for nursery children after school hours at St Josephs High School, Patancheru?

moss_wave_8344

Planning ahead. Our son is at daycare for now, and nursery is next June or the one after, depending on the cut-off. I pass St Josephs in Patancheru every working day, so it's on the list. The problem is my day. I finish at 4, later when there are events, and nursery will end around lunch wherever he goes. Has anyone heard of the school keeping little ones on after class hours, or do families use a daycare nearby?

A year behind you: our son isn't even 1 yet and I'm already eyeing schools near Gachibowli for exactly this reason. Haven't found one that keeps nursery kids till 4 yet. Will be watching this thread 😄

From the school side: after-care, where it exists, usually depends on how many families ask for it that year. A school may not be able to promise anything for a batch that hasn't started. Ask whether something runs for the current nursery batch. That tells you more.

We used a daycare that did the school pickup for our son in his early years. Easier to find than a school that keeps them on. Look for one near the school gate rather than near home.

have you done patancheru from nallagandla at 4 though. our older one had tuition out that way for a year and the evening drive was the part that broke us

Depends which direction, no? Going out of town at that hour was fine for us, coming back in was the slow part. She'd be heading back towards Nallagandla with a sleepy kid, so yes, worth one test drive.

Define after-hours when you ask. A teacher supervising until 4 and a child sitting in the office waiting are very different answers, and you'll get the vague one unless you ask for the specific one.
