1on 4 year old wants to stay the night at her cousins' over the festival. Too soon?
Ours is 3 and I'd be the one calling at 10 pm, not her. What we did for a nap at a friend's place (not overnight) was send her own pillow and the book we read every night. She barely looked at us when we left. If it goes well, you get a free evening. If not, 15 minutes is a short drive ❤️
3on Nanny gives our 2 year old a biscuit for every finished meal. Now she bargains
Haven't yet, that's partly why I posted. I'm thinking of putting it as a new plan for all of us, weekends included, rather than something she got wrong. Will see how it lands.
1on My parents do three days a week with our 2.5 year old and it's wearing them out
Ours is the same age and started half-day playschool in June. The first month she came home exhausted and cranky, not napping better. It settled after that. Just factor in a rough few weeks if your parents will be the ones doing the afternoons ❤️
1on in-laws give our 3 yr old chai every morning. she's started asking for it by name
Our nanny started something similar with our daughter, a little tea with biscuits. What worked for us was keeping the ritual and changing the drink. Same small cup, warm milk with a pinch of elaichi, sitting with the nanny at the same time. Turned out she mostly wanted the cup and the company ❤️
0on Daughter is in class 10. Do we need to start on class 11 applications now?
Telling myself the same for the preschool round, and she's only two. Apparently it starts earlier every year ❤️
2on Just over ten hours of classes a week, travel included. Too much for a 10 year old?
Useful to read this now, before we start any of it. Our daughter is two and we already get leaflets for toddler gym. I'll remember the travel point when the time comes ❤️
6on Refused mashed banana for a month. Tonight he took raw onion off my plate and asked for more
This made my night. Our daughter went through a phase of only eating things with some sourness or bite to them. Anything plain got thrown. A squeeze of lemon on her dal changed everything. Try a little onion or a proper tadka in his dal next time ❤️
